Global Gold, a decentralized infrastructure protocol for on-chain bullion, has launched $GOLDN—a meme-powered scenecoin designed to galvanize its community. The token aims to amplify gold's narrative in Web3 while supporting the adoption of Global Gold's programmable, audited bullion products.
"The Gold industry doesn’t have a community. It has ETFs and industry associations," said CEO Cole Chapman. $GOLDN seeks to inject viral energy into gold-backed finance, targeting retail participation ahead of core product rollouts.
The protocol converts vaulted gold into digitally settled assets with on-chain proof of reserves. Jurisdiction-specific tokens will follow, backed 1:1 by allocated bullion.
